Robert Stigile graduated Cal State University of Northridge in 1996 with a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation and works at Northridge Recreation Center.
He also works part time in several Assistive Technology positions such as training Aira Agents, as well as training people who are blind in assistive Technology.
Robert received his first Guide Dog in April of 1987 and is currently working his Sixth Guide from Guide Dogs of America.
Robert has been an active member of the NFB since 1987 and currently is the First Vice-President of the National DeafBlind Division, Second Vice-president of the NFB of California, Treasurer of the California Association of Guide Dog Users, President of the San Fernando Valley Chapter, and was elected to the Board of Directors of Nagdu at our 2024 National Convention.
Robert loves to hike, camp and go deep Sea Fishing, as you can see, he is an active member of the NFB and loves the Outdoors.
